E-4 is the Department's front line Rescue Engine that can perform vehicle stabilization, patient extrication, hazardous materials incidents, and fire suppression. The Engine holds 1000 gallons of water for fire incidents as well. 

Wagon 4 is our front line suppression apparatus. It is the first truck out for any "Fire" incidents. Equipped with 1500 gallons of water and seating for 5 personnel, this Engine is ideal for rural fire suppression operations in Botetourt County. 

Tanker 4 is a commercial cab Engine/Tanker with 2250 gallons of water and a full sized pump. The Tanker is responsible for bringing large amounts of water to significant fire incidents in rural areas. 

Utility 4, equipped with 2 MSA airpacks and a small compliment of tools, provides incidents with additional personnel. This pickup truck also hauls several major incident trailers housed in Fincastle.

Brush-4 is the apparatus to respond to any wildland fire or rough terrain incidents. It will be equipped with two brush line reels, compartments for tools and a skid pump unit with a 250 gallon tank.

CAR-4

Car-4, is the primary command apparatus for Company 4. It provides incidents with additional personnel, a mobile command post and a small collection of tools.
